Friendship MBC is blessed to have three awesome women of God who are coming as candidates to become licensed ministers. Although they are not considered to be our first, as they stand on the shoulders of the likes of Rev. Lorrene Hackett, Rev. Yvonne Harmon, and Rev. Tucker, they will have a unique position to support and encourage the congregation of today.
On Sunday, April 21st at 3:oo PM, Sis. Arlain (Penny) Clay, Sis. Evelyn Mitchell, and First Lady Carol A. Thomas will deliver trial sermons to be licensed as ministers of Friendship upon satisfactory presentations. Upon passing this first trial, they will be under the tutelage of Pastor Larry A. Thomas. With proper and consistent training, they are certain to become outstanding ministers laboring in God’s service.
